Why artificially heat
seedling boxes?
Both
commercially made seedling boxes and home made
styrofoam seedling propagation boxes suffer from the same
problem that they need warmth from the sun to get the seedlings
going. If you are trying to get very early tomatoes or basil,
capsicum and eggplant seedlings in time for a short growing
season you will have to artificially heat the seedlings in order
to get them up in time.
