No frills mail order seed company with a good range of seeds.   Doesn't offer the combinations of seeds or the range of accessories that Diggers Seed Club offers but is considerably  cheaper and the quality of seeds is just as good if not better.   Plus you usually get more seeds per packet.  It is my first port of call when buying vegetable seeds.

The only annoying thing about them is that they mark all their use by dates on their packets of seeds as expiring in the following year.  Seed shelf life varies greatly depending on the type of seed, some seeds will last up to 10 years.  This one use by date fits all practice is a disturbing trend as Phoenix is not the only seed company to adopt to this.

To counter it I suggest that, whatever brand of seeds you buy, you should mark your own use by date on each packet using a seed use by date chart such as the one found on my Seed storage Life webpage.  

For some inexplicable reason Phoenix does not have a website, perhaps they have wisely decided to opt out of the 21st Century.
